EPDM rubber can be divided into high-molecular-weight and low-molecular-weight types based on its molecular weight. High-molecular-weight EPDM rubber has a high molecular weight and high viscosity, making it suitable for rubber products such as seals, vibration isolation devices, and gas springs. Low-molecular-weight EPDM rubber, on the other hand, has a lower molecular weight and excellent rheological and processing properties, making it suitable for use in rubber masterbatches, joint materials, and fillers.
